Donkey is a dog, specifically, my dog. She and I began making soap a few years ago and haven’t stopped since! I began making soap as a hobby, which I still consider it to be. However, I think everyone should be able to afford the amazing benefits of using soap that has been thoughtfully created with healthy skin in mind. Each soap is handcrafted by myself (Donkey doesn’t like to get her paws messy!) with a specific goal in mind, whether it’s made for mature skin, crafted for a particular use such as exfoliation, or simply because of aesthetics.
Since the beginning, each day I learn something new and as my experience grows so does the amount of soap I have on hand! Each small batch of soap takes at least 2 months to cure, often the soap reaches its best potential if cured for several months to a year. There are many reasons I love making soap, in no particular order: It makes my skin feel better than it has since - ever (yeah, my skin’s never been perfect), I can choose the quality and type of products in my soap, I can make any combination of scents I can dream up, AND I get to use my Chemistry degree again! If you have an idea for a soap or other thing, please let me know (well in advance for soap)!! I love making soap for folks who love soap!
